Hello Friends!
This evening when Adam and I were doing prayer time together before bed we got to talking about our future. We began to feel anxious and worried about the future. We were just going back and forth with ‘what if’ scenarios and huge concerns about the unknown. By the end of the conservation I reminded Adam that God already knows our plan and all we have to do it let Him lead and listen and follow carefully.
Being a young adult is fun and daunting all at the same time. Adam and I discussed our hopes and dreams…and tried to navigate practical ways to peruse them while still making a living. We told God the desire of hearts and what we would love to do. We prayed over our dream, our future home, and future family. We came out of that prayer time with more hope and more excitement for the future.
We can approach the future in two ways…with fear of the unknown or with excited expectation for what is to come and for what God is going to do with our lives. Don’t be afraid to tell God and a close person your dreams, hopes, and concerns. God cares about it ALL and sometimes it’s really nice to word vomit and process everything that you are feeling. I also encourage you to pray over what is to come very specifically and watch how God blesses it beyond measure. I hope this encouraged you to look to the future with excitement.
