Hello Friends!
Today I realized that all throughout the Gospels Jesus tells us that what we believe will come to pass. Jesus didn't intend for us to name and claim all of the things that we want and its 'poof' ours. God wants us to believe and gain what God has told us is ours to have! There are so many promises that God says are ours if we believe. He wants to give us a sound mind, healthy body, loving families, and generous lives...and the list could go on. For me personally, I know that I need to dig into the word everyday to be reminded of all of the promises that God has for me.
Additionally, it takes more then just knowing these things, to truly claim it you have to allow God to enter those spaces in your life. For example, if you struggle with fear, anxiety, and depression...give it to God and claim a sound mind over your life and ask God to renew your thoughts. If you know what the Bible says is yours then you will be sure to know what is not good and right for you. The amazing thing is that God wants to step into our 'mess' and redeem it for HIS glory. What I mean by this is that God wants to use your pain and problems--to redeem it--and then use it as a platform for you to have a testimony to give God the glory-So that others may see God working in and through your life... and as a result be a platform to show other non believers how amazing our God is.
